Thank you Family Life for your Legacy

Last week, I had the honor and privilege of touring Family Life.    They have a remarkable ministry with very practical resources to help live out life on earth as a Christian.

I was impressed by how, everywhere I turned, scripture was posted very visibly along with the story of someone who lived it out.  It was very humbling for me and a reminder of how I must give glory to God in all things.  Too often, I boast in my own accomplishments rather than the Lord.

I am thankful to have met many people through whom the Lord has and is accomplishing His purposes.

In the entry rotunda, there is a picture of Bill Bright, the founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, along with Psalm 127:1. (“Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” NIV) Bill Bright left a legacy that points us to seek God and His kingdom first.

Thank you Family Life for pointing to a legacy of living for the Lord.

In honor of God’s work through Family Life, I have posted Psalm 127:1 (Unless the Lord Builds the House) by Phil Carlson, from the Fighter Verse Songs Set D.
