Philippians 1:6

I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

After four weeks of verses about battle, fiery darts, wrestling, darkness and fighting against the dangerous weapons of the evil one (Ephesians 6:10-17) – after all that – we have this verse, which tells that the end of the story is that we, through Christ, will be triumphant over Satan. And this is good news that can aid us today as we see where we are headed.

Paul is sure of it – Are you?

Practical Suggestions:

– Pray for belief in this truth.

– Look at your walk with Christ to see ways in which you are more ‘complete’ than when you first became a Christian.

– Consider what you will look like on that day when the good work is complete in you. How is different from what you look like now?
