I’ve mentioned before that on Wednesday nights I lead a class of Kindergarteners and First Graders. This week I asked them if they thought it would be good to be a horse. And then I pointed out that there’s at least one way that it wouldn’t be – as pointed out by this verse.

If you were a horse, there would be times when you wouldn’t get to choose your own way – that choice would be made for you with a bit and bridle.

And I encouraged them to not be without understanding, so they wouldn’t have to be led around everywhere.

I encourage you to not be like that as well.
