So after last week’s bad news, This is the good news. And Paul is gracious and makes the good news text significantly longer than the bad news.

And of course it begins with “But God”. Bad news, bad news, bad news and then “But God”. And then good news, soul-saving news, grace showing news.

We were dead, but now we have been made alive.
We were lost, but now we have been saved.

Because of the Love with which he loved us.
