4-48 Application for Nov 29-30, 2014 :: Psalm 118:13-14

I was pushed hard, so that I was falling, but the LORD helped me. The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.

Psalm 118:13-14

This is the helpful truth for those that are falling. They’ve been pushed hard enough that they can’t keep standing on their own. And what does He do? What does He become for those who put their faith in Him?

Three things:

1. Your Strength – to enable you to keep from falling. This would be acceptable for many who are in a difficult place – but God doesn’t stop there.
2. Your Song – so you’re not just standing upright – you’re given the joy to want to sing about it.
3. Your Salvation – This is long term uprightness – eternal protection from falling.

Are you falling? Run to this God.
