John 14:2-3
In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.
This must be one of the happiest verse in the Bible. Such good news. A room with many homes prepared by a loving Father and his Son the Savior. And Jesus is encouraging us: Don’t think I’m leaving you forever. Don’t think that your life will just end when you die.
Jesus’ message for those who have chosen him as Savior (and for whom He has chosen) is: You will have a happy ending. With me and my Father.
We will be more bold, joyful, gracious, merciful, God-honoring and obedient if we believe it. Do you?
Such a lovely blend of voices! Thank you.
