Jesus is telling us what kind of people we should be.
Jesus, the Son of God and Saviour of the World, is showing us what our mindset should be and how we should think.

We should listen to His words, right? He knows. He is trustworthy.

So what kinds of people should we be?
Merciful
Pure in Heart,
Peacemakers,
Willing to be persecuted for being righteous.

And what does Jesus say will be our blessings if we do?
We will receive mercy, and see God and be called sons of God and obtain the kingdomw of heaven.

Very good motivators – very good reward.
