Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Those who believe in Jesus are not condemned in this life or the next. Jesus has taken the punishment that is rightly ours.
Our guilt is absorbed, our sins are forgiven, our debt is paid. Our condemnation is gone because of Jesus’ death on the cross.
Let us rejoice and be glad in the God of our salvation! He has set us free from sin and guilt and shame and condemnation!
Practical suggestions:
– Meditate upon this verse and the depth of your sin. Dwell in the freedom from judgment, and the free gift of God in Christ Jesus.
– Pray that you would feel your freedom from condemnation now.
– Consider sharing with another what it means to be in Christ Jesus.
